About Us
The Viewpoint Gallery is a public exhibition space located at Plymouth College of Art , in the centre of the city of Plymouth. Viewpoint runs a programme of exhibitions and events, showing work by emerging, up-and-coming artists and established artists working in a range of different discipline areas.
Students and staff at Plymouth College of Art also have the opportunity to show their work in the college’s Foyer Gallery and Lift Gallery.
From time to time, Plymouth College of Art also plays host to special events like symposiums and festivals.
Term Time:
Monday – Thursday 9am – 7pm
Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 12am (please phone for times)
Vacation Time:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

The programme is developed by the Exhibitions, Events and Visiting Artist Officer, a post currently held by Hannah Jones & Jason Hirons. Exhibitions are selected by proposal and the programme is agreed at least 12 months in advance. Technical Information for artists
The Viewpoint Gallery is 106.76 sq meters, which can be divided and reconfigured by movable freestanding exhibition boards. A plan of the gallery and a proforma for applying to use the space are available from the Exhibitions team - exhibitions@plymouthart.ac.uk
